Q: What will be in my vegetable box?

Box Sizes
We offer two box sizes: large and small.  A large box will usually contain about 8-10 items and the small box will contain about 6-8 items. However, depending on the particular vegetables included each week, the boxes may not appear full. On other weeks, they may be too full to close. If you are going to be concerned about how full the box is each week, this is not a good program for you to join. For a complete list of the vegetables we grow click here.

We are often asked how many people a box feeds. It really depends on how many vegetables your family eats and how many meals you eat at home.  Below is an example of what may be in a typical large and small winter box.

Extra Produce 
We will gladly supply available "extra" produce, over and above what is included in your box, at a special rate for subscribers only - not available to the general public (although subscribers may buy extras for your friends!) A list of "Current Extras" is revised every Sunday on the 'Subscriber' web page - access provided to current subscribers. 

OTHER LOCALLY PRODUCED PRODUCTS AVAILABLE AT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE

Cheese
 Bumble Bee Baking Company in Delray Beach, produces locally-made Artisan fromage blanc cheese.  It is handcrafted in small batches with Central Florida, grass-fed, farmstead (single family farm), low heat pasteurized, cream on top (non-homogenized) milk.  The fromage blanc cheese may be added as a standing order to your box on a weekly/bi-weekly basis or upon request.  The price is $7.00 for 6 ounces.  Please order 1 week in advance of your box.  Facebook page under "Bumble Bee Baking Co."

Eggs
Coffey House Family Farm in Okeechobee, produces  fresh local eggs.  Their chickens are pastured poultry  or free range chickens.  The eggs may be added as a standing order to your box on a weekly/bi-weekly basis or upon request.  This price is $5.50/dozen. The eggs should be ordered at least 4 work days in advance. Their website:  www.coffeyhousefamilyfarm.com.  

Flower Bouquets
Seed to Bloom produces fresh locally grown flower bouquets. The bouquets may be added as a standing order to your box on a weekly/bi-weekly basis or upon request. Honey
We carry honey from two local apiaries: McCoy's and LeDuc. For honey types and prices, refer to "Current Extras" list mentioned above.
